경기북부보훈지청과 국방시설본부 경기북부시설단이 설 명절을 맞아 나라를 위해 헌신한 보훈가족을 찾아 따뜻한 온정을 나눴다.
지난 2월 10일, 양 기관은 경기도 고양지역 보훈재가복지서비스 대상 가구 등을 방문하여 위문품을 전달하고 존경과 감사의 인사를 전했다.
특히 이번 위문을 위해 경기북부시설단은 150만 원 상당의 명절 선물세트를 기탁하며 나눔 문화 확산에 앞장섰다.

이날 위문팀이 방문한 김○○ 어르신은 해병대 10기로 6.25 전쟁에 참전했던 영웅이다.
명절을 앞두고 방문한 까마득한 후배 군인들을 마주한 어르신은 "명절이라고 잊지 않고 찾아와 주니 정말 고맙다"며, 마치 오랜 전우를 만난 듯 환한 미소로 화답했다.
