고양특례시 일산서구 탄현1동은 의료 사각지대에 놓인 어르신들의 건강을 지원하기 위해 ‘찾아가는 한방이음 서비스’를 2월 초부터 운영 중이라고 11일 밝혔다.

이번 사업은 홀로 거주하거나 거동이 불편해 병원 이용이 어려운 어르신들을 대상으로, 신체적 통증 완화와 일상 건강관리를 돕기 위해 마련됐다.
탄현1동은 최근 지역 내 어르신 인구 증가와 함께 의료·복지 서비스 수요가 높아지고 있다는 점에 주목해, 보건소 소속 한의사와 동 담당자가 한 팀을 이루어 매주 1회 대상 가정을 방문하는 형태로 서비스를 제공하고 있다.
주요 서비스는 근골격계 통증 점검과 침 치료, 기초건강 상태 확인 등이며, 필요시 지역 복지자원과 연계해 지속적인 관리가 이루어질 예정이다.
