진주시, 정보공개 4년 연속 전국 최우수

[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 12일 행정안전부가 주관한 ‘2025년 정보공개 종합평가’에서 전국 최고등급을 받아 4년 연속 최우수기관에 선정됐다고 밝혔다.

이번 평가는 중앙행정기관과 지방자치단체, 공공기관 등 전국 561개 기관을 대상으로 정보공개 운영 수준을 종합적으로 점검했다.

평가 항목은 사전 정보 공표와 원문 공개, 정보공개 청구 처리, 고객관리, 제도 운영 등 5개 분야 12개 지표로 구성됐다.

진주시는 총점 96.58점을 기록하며 전 분야에서 고른 우수 평가를 받아 정보공개 운영의 체계성과 신뢰성을 인정받았다.

특히 시는 지난 2022년부터 4년 연속 최우수기관에 이름을 올리며 시정의 투명성과 책임성을 대외적으로 입증하는 성과를 거뒀다.

조규일 진주시장은 “이번 성과는 시민 중심의 투명 행정을 위해 전 직원이 노력한 결과다”며 “앞으로도 소통과 참여를 확대해 더욱 신뢰받는 시정을 벌이겠다”고 말했다.
