[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 20일 재단법인 김해인재양성재단 창립총회를 개최, 지산학 협력 거점 구축과 지역 인재 육성을 위한 본격적인 재단 출범 준비에 들어갔다.
시는 지난 1월 임원추천위원회를 구성해 비상임 이사 5명과 비상임 감사 1명을 선임했다.
이날 총회에는 이사장인 홍태용 김해시장을 비롯해 발기인과 임원 총 8명이 참석해 재단 설립을 위한 핵심 안건을 심의·의결했다.
김해인재양성재단은 2개 팀 11명 규모로 구성되며, 설립 후 3년간 총 108억원의 출연금을 투입해 운영되는 비영리 재단법인이다.
재단은 향후 지역과 대학, 산업계의 선순환 생태계를 조성하고 글로컬대학30 사업의 핵심 가치인 ‘김해 올시티 캠퍼스’를 실현하는 데 중추적인 역할을 수행하게 된다.
시는 그동안 사업별로 분산되어 있던 대학 지원 체계를 재단이라는 하나의 ‘컨트롤타워’로 집약한다.
이를 통해 지역 대학의 혁신을 속도감 있게 이끌고 지역전략산업에 필요한 맞춤형 인재를 적기에 공급할 계획이다.
홍태용 시장은 인사말에서 “지난 2년간 글로컬대학 사업의 밑그림을 그리며 치열하게 고민했던 시간들이 모여 오늘 재단의 공식적인 탄생을 알리게 되어 감회가 남다르다”며, “우리 재단은 지역대학과 전략산업의 동반 성장을 잇는 가교가 될 것이며, 재단의 정책이 현장에서 살아 움직일 수 있도록 임원 여러분이 책임 있는 파트너로서 끝까지 힘을 실어주시길 바란다”고 당부했다.
시는 앞으로 대표이사 공개모집 절차와 주무관청 설립 허가, 법인 등기 등 남은 행정 절차를 신속히 마무리 할 예정이다.
재단이 공식 출범하면 인제대학교 글로컬대학 사업의 컨트롤타워 역할을 비롯해 청년인턴 지원사업, 산학공동 프로젝트 지원, 산업체 전문가 멘토링 교육, 초중고등학생 진로캠프, 현장캠퍼스 중심 맞춤형 인재양성 사업, 중소기업 재직자 역량강화 교육, 청년작가 인큐베이팅 사업 등 생애주기별·산업별 맞춤형 프로그램을 추진하게 된다.
시는 재단의 전문성을 바탕으로 이러한 주요 사업들을 본격 추진해 김해의 글로컬대학 사업 경쟁력을 강화하고, 나아가 '청년이 머무르고 싶은 도시 김해'를 만드는 데 행정력을 집중할 방침이다.
