가평청소년문화의집은 겨울방학을 맞아 운영한 ‘바리스타 자격취득 과정’에서 참여 청소년 11명 전원이 자격증을 취득했다고 23일 밝혔다.
이번 과정은 청소년들의 진로 설계에 대한 관심이 높아지는 시기에 발맞춰, 직무 체험과 자격 취득을 연계한 실질적인 맞춤형 진로교육 프로그램으로 기획됐다.
교육은 에스프레소 추출, 우유 스티밍, 라떼 아트, 위생 및 서비스 교육 등 현장 중심의 실습 위주로 진행됐으며, 전문 강사진의 체계적인 지도 아래 자격시험 대비 교육이 병행됐다.
프로그램에 참여한 한 청소년은 “바리스타라는 직업을 직접 체험하며 적성과 흥미를 구체적으로 파악할 수 있었다”며 “자격증까지 취득하게 돼 자신감이 크게 높아졌다”고 소감을 전했다.
백준종 가평청소년문화의집 관장은 “청소년들이 스스로 진로를 탐색하고 의미 있는 방학을 보낼 수 있도록 이번 과정을 준비했다”며 “앞으로도 다양한 직업 체험 기회를 제공하는 맞춤형 진로 프로그램을 지속적으로 확대해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
