대전 중구가 지역 청년들의 취업난 해소를 위해 기업과 구직자를 직접 연결하는 현장형 일자리 행사를 열었다.
중구는 26일, 구청에서 ‘2026년 제1회 구인·구직 JOB-매칭데이(현장면접)’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 중구 일자리지원센터가 주관했으며, 구직 의지를 가진 청년들과 인재를 찾는 지역 기업을 당일 현장에서 바로 연결하는 실질적인 취업 지원의 장으로 마련됐다.
이날 현장에는 케이엠손해사정㈜ 중부권심사본부가 참여해 10명의 신규 인력 채용을 진행했다. 지원 대상은 만 29세 미만의 청년층으로, 채용된 인원은 보험 접수 및 전산 입력, 서류 보완 안내, 보험금 지급 심사 등 보험 행정 업무를 담당하게 된다.
단순 면접에 그치지 않고, 채용으로 이어지지 않은 구직자를 위해서도 지속적인 취업 상담과 맞춤형 취업 알선 서비스를 제공해 사후 지원까지 이어간다.
중구는 올해 첫 매칭데이를 시작으로, 앞으로 기업 인력 수요를 선제적으로 발굴해 정기적인 매칭데이를 확대 운영할 계획이다.
김제선 중구청장은 “이번 행사가 청년 구직자들에게 실질적인 기회가 되었기를 바란다”며 “앞으로도 청년 눈높이에 맞는 양질의 일자리를 늘리고, 구인·구직 간 연결을 강화해 지역 고용시장 활력을 높이겠다”고 밝혔다.
