【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 증평군농업기술센터가 본격적인 영농철을 앞두고 오는 3월 4일부터 9월 18일까지 2026년 농업기계 안전(순회)교육을 실시한다고 밝혔다.
교육은 도안면 노암2리를 시작으로 지역 내 160개 농촌 마을을 순회하며 총 67회에 걸쳐 진행된다.
이번 교육은 영농 현장에서 잦은 고장과 안전사고 위험에 노출된 소형 농업기계를 중심으로 운영된다.
경운기와 관리기, 예취기 등 농가 사용 빈도가 높은 기종을 대상으로 기계 점검 요령과 안전수칙, 기본적인 관리 방법을 안내해 농업인의 재산 보호와 사고 예방을 동시에 꾀한다.
오일 등 소모성 부품은 무상으로 지원해 교육 실효성을 높일 계획이다.
센터는 매년 순회 교육을 통해 농업인의 불편을 줄이고 있다.
지난해에는 △경운기 190대 △관리기 196대 △예취기 733대 △분무기 83대 △기타 87대 등 총 1289대의 농업기계를 대상으로 안전교육과 점검을 실시해 현장 호응을 얻었다.
김덕태 소장은 “농업기계 노후화와 고령 농업인 증가로 안전사고 위험이 커지고 있다”며 “현장 중심 교육을 통해 농업기계를 보다 안전하고 효율적으로 사용할 수 있도록 지속적으로 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
