이번 인증은 기관 설립 이후 처음으로 부패방지경영체계를 국제 기준에 맞춰 구축하고, 전사적 리스크 관리 및 윤리 통제 시스템을 체계화한 성과라는 점에서 의미를 갖는다.
대구행복진흥원은 인증 취득을 위해 전 부서를 대상으로 부패 리스크 진단을 실시하고, 이해충돌 관리체계 고도화, 부패 취약 분야 점검 강화, 내부 신고 절차 정비, 임직원 맞춤형 청렴 교육 확대 등을 추진했다. 또한 부패방지 전담 조직을 중심으로 상시 점검 체계를 구축해 제도의 실효성을 높였다.
대구행복진흥원 관계자는 “이번 인증은 기관의 청렴·윤리경영 수준을 국제 기준에 맞춰 제도화한 결과”라며 “앞으로도 투명하고 책임 있는 운영을 통해 시민 신뢰를 더욱 강화해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
한편, 대구행복진흥원은 향후 내부통제 시스템 고도화와 데이터 기반 위험관리 체계 강화, 청렴문화 확산 활동을 지속 추진해 지역사회 신뢰 기반을 공고히 한다는 방침이다.
