브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 한국토지주택공사(LH)는 무주택 서민 주거비 부담 완화를 위해 올해 전국에 전세임대주택 3만7580호(가구)를 공급한다고 4일 밝혔다.
전세임대 제도는 입주 대상자가 거주할 주택을 직접 찾으면 LH가 주택 소유자와 전세 계약을 체결한 뒤 이를 입주 대상자에게 저렴하게 재임대하는 제도다.
지난해 LH는 전국에 전세임대주택 3만3000호를 공급했다. 이는 LH가 지난해 공급한 공공임대 공급 물량(6만4000호)의 51%에 달한다.
특히, 4월에는 비(非)아파트 시장 정상화를 위해 ‘전세임대형 든든주택’을 최초 도입해 중산층까지 지원 대상을 확대했으며, 12월에는 청년 및 전세임대형 든든주택 7500호를 추가 공급하는 등 전세시장 활성화에 힘썼다.
LH는 올해 주거복지 업무 추진 목표를 ‘주택공급 확대를 통한 국민 주거안정 지원’ 및 ‘촘촘한 주거지원 및 주거환경 개선을 통한 국민편익 증대’로 설정하고, 지난해보다 물량을 늘려 올해 전국에 전세임대주택 총 3만7580호 공급을 추진한다.

지난 2월 게시된 청년 1순위(7000호) 모집을 시작으로 신혼부부‧다자녀 수시모집(4월), 기존주택 일반‧고령자 정기모집(5월)이 순차적으로 시행된다. 하반기에는 예산 범위 내에서 공급 실적과 수요 추이를 고려해 청년 등 수요가 높은 유형을 중심으로 추가 공급도 추진할 계획이다.
