경기도가 중동 정세 악화에 따른 경제 불확실성에 대응해 600억 원 규모의 특별경영자금을 신설하는 등 긴급 지원 대책을 가동했다.
김동연 경기도지사는 9일 ‘중동 정세 악화 대응 경기도 긴급대책 회의’를 주재하고 도내 기업 피해 최소화와 물가 안정을 위한 대응 방안을 점검했다. 최근 미국·이스라엘과 이란 간 무력 충돌 격화로 호르무즈 해협을 둘러싼 불확실성이 커지고 국제 유가와 금융시장 변동성이 확대되자 선제 대응에 나선 것이다.
경기도는 총괄지원반, 수출기업지원반, 물가민생지원반, 금융지원반 등 4개 반으로 구성된 중동 상황 대응 전담조직(TF)을 구성해 경제 상황 변화에 대응하기로 했다.
우선 도내 기업 피해를 신속히 파악하기 위해 ‘중동 정세 악화 기업 피해 접수센터’를 설치해 상담과 지원 연계를 진행한다. 기업은 경기도 기업SOS 누리집이나 전화 상담을 통해 애로사항을 접수할 수 있다.
수출기업 지원도 확대한다. 물류비 지원 한도를 기업당 최대 500만 원으로 상향하고, 중소기업 해외 수출 운송비 지원 사업을 통해 해상 운송은 건당 최대 500만 원, 항공 운송은 최대 200만 원까지 지원한다.
금융 분야에서는 중동 정세 영향으로 경영 애로를 겪는 수출기업 등을 대상으로 600억 원 규모의 ‘중동 위기 대응 특별경영자금’을 신설했다. 기업당 최대 5억 원 한도에 5년 상환 조건(1년 거치 4년 분할상환)으로 지원하며 이차보전율 2%포인트를 적용해 금융 부담을 낮췄다.
또한 총 13억7천만 원 규모의 수출 바우처를 발급해 도내 중소기업 182개사에 기업당 약 1천만 원 규모의 수출 지원 서비스를 제공할 계획이다.
경기도는 이와 함께 시군과 함께 물가종합대책반을 운영해 유류비 등 주요 품목 가격을 점검하고 지방 공공요금 인상 시기 조정 등을 통해 물가 안정 관리에도 나설 방침이다.
김동연 지사는 “경제 불확실성이 커지는 상황에서 기업과 도민이 불안하지 않도록 신속하게 대응하는 것이 중요하다”며 “경기도가 할 수 있는 모든 조치를 찾아 도민 생활 안정과 기업 지원에 총력을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
