【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=(재)행복북구문화재단 어울아트센터가 대구문화예술진흥원 주관 ‘2026 공연장 상주단체 육성지원사업’에 선정되며 재단 설립 이후 9년 연속 지원을 확정했다.
올해 상주단체로는 전통과 현대를 잇는 악·가·무 융합 국악 다원예술단체 ‘트래덜반’이 선정됐다. 2017년 창단한 트래덜반은 국악을 기반으로 다양한 장르를 결합한 창작 공연을 선보이며 활동해 온 단체다.
트래덜반은 어울아트센터와 협력해 가족 관객을 위한 국악 낭독 콘서트 ‘아기코끼리 아샤의 일기’와 고전 동화를 재해석한 공연 ‘이상한 나라의 트래덜반’을 기획·공연할 예정이다. 이와 함께 지속 가능형 콘텐츠 개발과 관객과의 대화 등 퍼블릭 프로그램을 운영해 지역 주민과의 접점을 확대할 계획이다.
어울아트센터와 트래덜반은 그동안 수어 통역과 터치 투어 등 장애 유형을 고려한 접근성 서비스를 꾸준히 운영해 왔다. 올해는 접근성 서비스를 한층 강화해 장애 유무와 관계없이 누구나 공연을 즐길 수 있는 창작 환경을 조성하고, 예술계의 ESG(환경·사회·지배구조) 가치 실현에도 힘쓸 예정이다.
박정숙 행복북구문화재단 대표이사는 “9년 연속 선정은 공연장과 예술단체가 긴밀히 협력하며 지역 창작 생태계를 꾸준히 가꿔 온 결과”라며 “트래덜반과 함께 완성도 높은 공연으로 주민들에게 문화 향유 기회를 확대하겠다”고 말했다.

The Happy Bukgu Cultural Foundation's Eoul Arts Center has been selected for the Daegu Culture and Arts Promotion Agency's "2026 Performance Hall Resident Group Development Support Project," marking the ninth consecutive year of support since the foundation's establishment.
This year's resident group is Tradulban, a multidisciplinary Korean traditional music group bridging the traditional and contemporary worlds of music, song, and dance. Founded in 2017, Tradulban has been active in presenting creative performances that combine diverse genres based on Korean traditional music.
Tradulban will collaborate with the Eoul Arts Center to plan and perform "Baby Elephant Asha's Diary," a Korean traditional music reading concert for families, and "Tradulban in Wonderland," a reinterpretation of classic fairy tales. Furthermore, Tradulban plans to expand its reach with local residents by developing sustainable content and operating public programs, including audience dialogues.
Tradulban and the Eoul Arts Center have consistently provided accessibility services tailored to different disabilities, including sign language interpretation and touch tours. This year, we plan to further strengthen accessibility services to create a creative environment where everyone, regardless of disability, can enjoy performances. We will also strive to realize the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) values of the arts community.
Park Jeong-sook, CEO of the Happy Buk-gu Cultural Foundation, said, "This nine-year consecutive selection is a result of the close collaboration between performance venues and arts organizations, and the consistent cultivation of the local creative ecosystem. Together with Tradlerbarn, we will expand opportunities for residents to enjoy culture through high-quality performances."
