문경시, 치매치료관리비 지원 기준 완화…더 많은 환자 혜택 기대

이번 제도 개선으로 치매치료관리비 소득 산정 기준이 기존 가구 단위 건강보험료 기준에서 대상자와 배우자의 소득·재산을 반영한 소득 산정액 기준으로 변경됐다. 이에 따라 그동안 자녀의 건강보험료가 합산돼 소득 기준을 초과했던 치매환자들도 지원을 받을 수 있게 됐다.

지원 대상은 치매치료제를 복용 중인 치매환자로, 보훈의료지원 대상자는 제외된다. 기준 중위소득 140% 이하에 해당할 경우 치매 약제비와 당일 진료비에 대해 월 최대 3만 원, 연 최대 36만 원 한도 내에서 실비 지원을 받을 수 있다.

치매안심센터 관계자는 “이번 소득 산정 기준 변경으로 치매환자와 가족의 경제적 부담을 덜고 지속적인 치료와 관리에 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다”며 “대상 시민들의 적극적인 신청을 바란다”고 말했다.
