배출자가 읍·면 행정복지센터에서 배출 확인서를 발급받은 후, 확인서 뒷면에 대형폐기물 처리 스티커(2만원권)를 부착해 13시부터 17시까지 맹동면 소재 음성군 재활용집하장으로 가져오면 군에서 처리하는 방법으로 진행된다.
단, 지원 대상 영농폐기물은 환경공단 수거 품목인 폐비닐, 농약 빈 용기류를 제외한 폐합성수지 재질의 영농폐기물로 한정되고, 영농부산물, 농기구, 농가에서 발생한 생활 쓰레기 역시 처리 대상에서 제외된다.
