【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 증평군은 지난 9일 군청 대회의실에서 2026년 1분기 통합방위협의회를 열고 지역 통합방위 태세를 점검했다.
이번 협의회는 민·관·군·경·소방 등 유관기관과의 긴밀한 협조체계를 강화하고 비상 상황 대응 역량을 높이기 위해 마련됐다.
이날 회의는 증평군통합방협의회 의장인 이재영 군수 주재로 진행됐으며 조윤성 군의장, 주광림 제2161부대2대대장, 이병준 괴산경찰서장, 손덕주 증평소방서장 등 유관기관 및 지역단체 관계자 20여 명이 참석했다.
이날 참석자들은 최근 안보 정세를 공유하고 비상 상황 발생 시 신속하고 체계적인 대응을 위한 기관별 협력 방안과 통합방위체계 강화 방안 등을 논의했다.
이재영 군수는 “최근 불안정한 국제정세와 남북 관계 속에서 지역 안전을 지키기 위한 유관기관 간 협력의 중요성이 더욱 커지고 있다”며 “비상 상황에도 신속하게 대응할 수 있도록 기관 간 유기적인 협조체계를 바탕으로 빈틈없는 통합방위 태세를 확립해 달라”고 당부했다.
한편, 통합방위협의회는 비상사태 시 원활한 통합방위작전 수행을 위해 유관기간 간 협조사항을 논의하고 대책을 심의하는 기구로, 분기별 정례적으로 회의를 개최하고 있다.
