【브레이크뉴스 경산】이성현 기자=대구사이버대학교(총장 이근용)는 지난 9일 2026학년도 제1차 교직원 정례회를 개최하고, 같은 날 대학발전기금 전달식을 진행했다.

이날 오전 대구대학교 평생교육관 2층 소극장에서 열린 교직원 정례회에는 대학 교직원들이 참석한 가운데 국민의례를 시작으로 총장 인사말, 교직원 임명장 및 포상 수여, 교수회의장 및 노동조합위원장 인사말, 2026학년도 1학기 학생 모집 결과 공유 등이 진행됐다.
이근용 총장은 인사말에서 “지난 2025학년도 한 해 동안 어려운 여건 속에서도 주요 과제를 중심으로 대학 정상화를 위한 노력을 이어왔다”며 “2026학년도에는 대학 구성원 모두가 힘을 모아 안정적인 대학으로 자리매김할 수 있도록 함께 노력하자”고 말했다.
이어 대구사이버대학교 본관 C.I.R 회의실에서 열린 대학발전기금 전달식에서는 총동창회가 대학 발전과 후학 양성을 위해 발전기금을 기탁했다.
이날 행사에는 대학 측에서 이근용 총장을 비롯해 박상희 교학처장, 도진우 사무처장, 김천수 평생교육원장, 손근희 학생팀장이 참석했으며, 총동창회에서는 김종윤 총동창회장과 황금천 고문, 정운월 사무총장, 한수진 재무국장이 함께 자리했다.
이번 발전기금 기탁은 대학의 지속적인 성장과 교육환경 개선, 학생 지원 확대를 응원하는 취지로 마련됐으며, 대학과 동문 간 유대를 다시 한 번 확인하는 계기가 됐다. 대구사이버대학교는 기탁된 발전기금을 대학 발전과 학생 지원을 위해 의미 있게 활용할 계획이다.
