대전평생교육진흥원(원장 이주연)과 광주인재평생교육진흥원(원장 송형길)이 11일 RISE(지역혁신중심 대학지원체계) 사업 평생교육 분야 공동 추진을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 맺었다.
양 기관은 테크노파크 내 RISE센터를 중심으로 지역 산업 혁신을 뒷받침할 평생교육 협력을 강화한다.
협약 주요 내용은 기관 간 교류 확대, 인적·물적 자원 및 정보 공유, 평생교육 활성화를 위한 협력사업 발굴·추진이다. 협약식 당일 광주의 우수 사례 벤치마킹도 진행돼, 진흥원과 지역대학 간 연계에 속도를 낼 기반이 마련됐다.
이주연 원장은 “대전과 광주 모두 테크노파크 중심 RISE 운영으로 산업 혁신을 강조하지만, 평생교육은 진흥원이 주도해야 할 영역”이라며 “광주의 ‘광주형 미래라이프 커뮤니티 아카데미’ 등 선진 노하우를 전수받아 대전형 RISE 사업을 성공적으로 정착시키겠다”고 밝혔다.

The Daejeon Lifelong Education Promotion Center (Director Lee Ju-yeon) and the Gwangju Human Resources Development Center (Director Song Hyeong-gil) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the 11th to jointly promote the RISE (Regional Innovation-Oriented University Support System) project in the lifelong education sector.
The two organizations will strengthen their lifelong education collaboration, centered around the RISE Center within Technopark, to support regional industrial innovation.
