브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 한국마사회가 지난해 가을 큰 인기를 끌었던 렛츠런파크 서울의 ‘포니체험’ 프로그램을 오는 14일부터 재개한다.
포니체험 프로그램은 작은 말 품종인 포니와 직접 교감할 수 있는 체험형 프로그램이다. 동절기 동안 잠시 운영을 중단했던 프로그램이 봄을 맞아 다시 문을 열며, 연말까지 매주 토요일과 일요일 오전 10부터 오후 5시까지 운영된다.
올해 봄 시즌에는 ‘포니 타기’와 ‘포니랑 놀기’ 두 가지 프로그램으로 구성돼 운영된다. ‘포니 타기’는 포니 및 한라마에 올라 원형 마장을 함께 거니는 프로그램으로, 이용료는 5000원이다. 말과 이용자의 안전을 위해 키 100cm 이상의 초등학생만 참여할 수 있다.
‘포니랑 놀기’는 포니를 빗질하며 교감하고 함께 산책하거나 사진을 찍을 수 있는 프로그램으로 이용료는 4000원이다. 연령 제한 없이 누구나 참여 가능하다.
참여를 원하는 방문객은 렛츠런파크 서울 포니랜드 내 포니체험 라운지에서 시간대별로 예약 후 이용할 수 있으며, 결제는 신용카드만 가능하다. 과천시민은 이용료의 50%를 할인받을 수 있다.
한국마사회 관계자는 “포니체험 프로그램은 도심에서 좀처럼 접하기 어려운 동물과의 교감을 통해 아이들에게 소중한 추억을 선물할 수 있는 특별한 기회”라며 “올봄에도 많은 가족들이 렛츠런파크 서울을 찾아 따뜻하고 즐거운 시간을 보내시길 바란다”고 말했다.
