For this Spring Concert, the citizen choirs "Yangju Dulhana Choir and Yangju Hosu Choir" were selected as collaborating choirs for the first time in the history of the Yangju Municipal Arts Troupe's events. The choir presented the citizens with the four movements of Geon, Gon, Gam, and Ri from the classic Korean opera "Republic of Korea," followed by the encore song "Beautiful Rivers and Mountains."
The Yangju Dulhana Choir (Director Jeon Ok, Conductor Kim Su-mi, Accompanist Lee Hyun, Secretary General Choi Seon-ja) and the Yangju Hosu Choir (Conductor Kim Yong-won, Accompanist Im Ji-min, Assistant Conductor Kim Min-jeong), who participated in this collaborative performance, were selected as the collaborating choirs through the Yangju City collaboration competition.
Citizen A, who attended the Spring Concert, expressed gratitude, stating, "I have attended the Spring Concert every year, but I liked seeing the performance alongside the citizens' choirs—which are autonomous groups formed by the citizens—showing a harmonious blend with the community. In particular, I was deeply moved by the mature performance of the citizens' choirs. It is desirable to continue holding performances like this in the future."
Meanwhile, Yangju Mayor Kang Su-hyeon and many citizens attended the concert.
