【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 증평군이 보건복지부와 한국장애인개발원이 주관한 ‘2026년도 장애인 신규서비스 개발을 위한 공모사업’에 2년 연속 선정됐다.
이 사업은 장애인의 삶의 질 향상과 지역 특성에 맞는 신규 복지서비스를 발굴하기 위해 전국 지방정부를 대상으로 진행됐으며, 올해는 8개 시·군이 선정됐다.
충북에서는 증평군이 유일하다.
군은 이번 공모 선정으로 확보한 2000만 원을 투입해 장애인과 가족의 일상에 행복을 잇는 ‘온빛 지원사업(온전한 지원과 빛나는 미래)’을 본격 추진한다.
주요 내용은 △‘행복 365’ 긴급돌봄서비스 지원 △장애인 가족 마음 여행을 ‘떠나휴(休)’ △‘감정 돌봄’ 예술교육 지원 등이다.
특히 지난해 운영돼 호응을 얻은 긴급돌봄 서비스와 가족 힐링 프로그램을 지속하는 한편, 올해는 예술교육 프로그램을 새롭게 도입해 장애인의 정서적 안정과 자기표현 기회를 확대할 계획이다.
군은 사업의 전문성과 지속성을 높이기 위해 지역 장애인시설과 단체 등과 민관 협력 컨소시엄을 구성해 프로그램을 운영할 방침이다.
이재영 군수는 “2년 연속 공모사업에 선정된 것은 장애인 복지 확대를 위한 증평군의 노력이 인정받은 결과”라며“앞으로도 장애인과 그 가족들이 일상에서 행복을 누리고 꿈을 펼칠 수 있도록 다양한 지원과 경험의 기회를 지속적으로 만들어가겠다”라고 밝혔다.

Jeungpyeong-gun Selected for Ministry of Health’s New Service Contest for the Disabled for Two Consecutive Years
Jeungpyeong-gun, North Chungcheong Province, has been selected for the second consecutive year in the "2026 Contest for the Development of New Services for the Disabled," organized by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea Institute for the Development of the Disabled.
