[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 함안군은 경상남도에서 주관하는 2026년 지방세정 종합평가에서 '최우수'기관으로 선정돼 도지사 기관 표창과 함께 재정 인센티브로 특별조정교부금 3억원을 확보했다고 16일 밝혔다.
이번 평가는 2025년 한 해 동안 지방세 부과징수, 체납액 정리, 지방세 심사와 조사 등 지방세정 업무 5개 분야 19개 항목을 바탕으로 이뤄졌다.
군은 2025년도 지방세정 신규 시책으로 '주민세 신고 대상 알림 서비스'를 시행해 납세자가 신고를 빠뜨리지 않도록 우편과 문자를 발송했다.
또 '취득세 과세표준 적정 신고 여부 점검'으로 탈루세원을 발굴해 성실신고를 유도하고 사후 점검으로 공평과세 실현에 힘써 왔다.
또한 체납자에 대한 적극적인 체납처분 취득세 과세표준 기획점검 세정 발전 기여도 등 지방세입 증대 노력 및 적극적인 세무행정 업무에서 높은 점수를 받았다.
함안군 세무회계과 관계자는 "최우수 기관 선정은 어려운 경제 여건에서도 군민들의 성숙한 납세의식과 전 직원이 맡은 업무에 최선을 다한 결과다"며 "앞으로도 군민이 만족하는 세무행정 서비스를 제공하고 군정 발전을 위한 자주재원을 안정적으로 확보하도록 노력하겠다"고 말했다.
