이재혁 예비후보 "K2 군공항 이전 지연 막으려면 대구시 지방채 3천억 결단 필요"

이 예비후보는 16일 “K2 군공항 이전사업의 토지 보상이 조속히 이뤄져야 한다”며 “대구시는 지방채 3천억 원을 발행해 이전 부지 보상 절차를 서둘러 추진해야 한다”고 밝혔다.

이 후보는 단순한 군 공항 이전이 아니라, 대구의 도시 및 산업 구조를 바꿀 핵심 사업이라는 점을 강조했다. 사업이 지연되면 소음과 고도 제한 등으로 오랜 기간 피해를 겪어온 동구 주민들의 불편이 더 길어질 수 있다고 설명했다.

이어 “지방채를 발행하면 토지 보상을 선제적으로 시작할 수 있고, 이후 종전 부지 개발을 통해 재원 확보도 가능하다”며 “이렇게 하면 재정 부담을 분산시키면서도 사업을 빠르게 추진할 수 있다”고 주장했다.

또한 지방채 발행을 위해 행정안전부 심의 등 행정 절차에 보통 6개월가량이 소요된다는 점을 언급했다. 이어 “지금 결단하지 않으면 차기 대구시장 임기 이후로 사업이 1년 정도 더 늦어질 수 있다”고 지적했다.

이 예비후보는 “K2 군공항 이전이 늦어지면 곧 지역 발전도 더뎌진다”며 대구시가 빠른 정책 결정을 내려야 한다고 강조했다.
