이채명 경기도의원, 호계동 침수예방·하수처리 개선 점검

경기도의회 여성가족평생교육위원회 소속 이채명 의원(더불어민주당, 안양6)이 호계동 일대 침수 예방과 하수처리 효율 개선 사업 추진 현황을 점검했다.

이채명 의원은 지난 3월 13일 경기도의회 안양상담소에서 안양시 하수과 관계자로부터 관련 사업에 대한 업무보고를 받고 추진 상황을 점검했다.

이날 정담회에서는 하수도정비 기본계획에 반영된 주민 숙원사업을 중심으로 사업 진행 현황과 향후 계획이 논의됐다.

안양시는 호계1동 행정복지센터 일대와 호계2동 온천지구를 대상으로 추진 중인 평촌처리분구 우·오수 분류식화 사업과 호계3동 리치밸리 일원 우·오수 분류식화 사업(2차) 계획을 설명했다. 해당 사업은 하수 악취 저감과 정화조 유지관리 부담 완화 등 생활환경 개선을 목적으로 추진되고 있다.

이와 함께 국지성 호우와 기상이변에 따른 강우량 증가에 대응하기 위한 ‘2026년 호계3동 하수관로 통수능 개선사업’ 준공 계획에 대해서도 의견을 나눴다.

이채명 의원은 “하수도 정비와 침수 예방 사업은 주민 생활과 직결되는 핵심 기반시설”이라며 “현장의 목소리를 반영해 주민 불편을 해소하고, 필요한 제도와 예산이 적기에 반영될 수 있도록 행정과 주민을 연결하는 역할을 충실히 하겠다”고 말했다.
