(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천 서구시설관리공단 국민체육센터가 오는 4월부터 11월까지 전기설비 고장 및 노후화로 어려움을 겪는 지역 소상공인을 지원하기 위한 ‘소상공인 전기안전 e-음 서비스’ 시범사업을 진행한다고 밝혔다.
센터에 따르면, 이 사업은 안전관리자가 센터 이용 고객 중 자영업자, 소기업 등 소상공인의 사업장을 직접 방문해 전기설비 점검과 안전 상담을 무료로 제공하는 지역 상생형 안전지원 사업이다.
센터는 이 같은 사업을 추진하는 것은 최근 물가와 인건비 상승, 전문인력 부족 등으로 소상공인의 시설 유지관리 부담이 커지고 있는 상황에서 공단의 기술 인력을 활용해 소상공인의 전기안전 사각지대를 해소하고 지역사회 안전 강화에 기여하기 위해서다.
센터는 전기설비 보수나 공사가 필요한 경우 소상공인에게 공사비 중 노무비의 약 30% 할인 혜택을 제공하는 것을 골자로 한 업무협약(MOU)을 지역 전기공사 업체와 체결할 계획이다.
이를 통해 소상공인의 경제적 부담이 줄고 지역 전기업체와의 상생 효과도 나타날 것으로 기대되고 있다.
