충남대, 과학기술 기초연구 564억 역대 최다 수주

충남대학교가 과학기술정보통신부의 2026년 기초연구사업에서 총 564억 원 규모의 연구비를 확보하며 사상 최대 실적을 기록했다. 이는 핵심연구 52개, 신진연구 38개, 세종과학펠로우십 5개 과제 합산 성과다.

총장 김정겸 명의 연구팀은 지난해부터 이어진 SCI 논문 실적 1위에 이어 이번 대거 선정으로 거점국립대 선두를 입증했다. 핵심연구 유형B 27개(238억 원), 유형A 25개(99억 원)가 주축을 이뤘다.

신진연구 부문에선 유형B 26개(166억 원), 유형A 12개(32억 원)가 뽑혀 차세대 인재 기반을 강화했다. 세종과학펠로우십 국내트랙 5개(29억 원)도 추가로 확보됐다.

Chungnam National University Secures Record-Breaking 56.4 Billion Won in Basic Science and Technology Research Funds

Chungnam National University has achieved a record-breaking performance by securing a total of 56.4 billion won in research funding from the Ministry of Science and ICT's 2026 Basic Research Program. This figure represents the combined result of 52 Core Research projects, 38 Young Research projects, and 5 Sejong Science Fellowship projects.

Following its ranking as the top performer in SCI papers since last year, the research team led by President Kim Jeong-gyeom has proven its leadership among flagship national universities with this large-scale selection.
