영동군에 따르면 양강면 지촌리에서 블루베리를 재배하는 김종오 씨(60)는 9,488㎡ 규모의 밭에서 ‘새벽이’와 ‘킹스블루’ 등 품종을 재배하고 있다. 김 씨는 약 15년간 블루베리를 재배해 온 농가로, 연간 10톤가량을 생산하고 있다.
