서천군의회, 제340회 임시회 3일간 열어...

충남 서천군의회가 23일 제340회 임시회를 개회하고, 3일간의 의정 일정에 들어갔다. 이번 임시회는 25일까지 이어지며, 서천군의회의 주요 안건 심의와 의결이 진행된다.

첫날 열린 제1차 본회의에서는 임시회 회기 결정, 2025회계연도 결산검사위원 선임, 예산결산특별위원회 구성 및 휴회 일정 등을 결정하고, 집행부로부터 2026년도 기금운용계획 변경안에 대한 설명을 들었다.

김경제 의장은 개회사를 통해 “지난해 집행된 예산이 목적에 맞게 투명하고 효율적으로 사용되었는지 살피는 결산 검사는 매우 중요한 절차”라며, “의회와 집행부가 협력해 군민의 세금이 올바로 쓰이도록 철저히 점검하고 부족한 부분을 개선해 건전한 재정 운영을 해야 한다”고 당부했다. 

또한 “이번 임시회 기간 중 심도 있는 심의를 통해 군민 삶의 질 향상과 지역 발전에 기여할 수 있도록 노력해 달라”고 말했다.

임시회 일정 중 3월 24일에는 운영위원회가 열려 ‘서천군의회 사무과 조직개편 관련 조례 일괄개정’안과 ‘서천군의회의원 교육연수 조례’안을 심사할 예정이다. 이어 예산결산특별위원회에서 2026년도 기금운용계획 변경안을 집중 검토한다.

아울러 입법정책위원회에서는 서천군 결산검사위원 선임 및 운영에 관한 조례 일부개정안, 서천군 고향사랑 기부금 모금 및 운용에 관한 조례 일부개정안, 고향사랑기부제 신규 지정기부 사업 동의안, 청년센터 및 청년임대주택 관리·운영 조례안, 군세 감면 조례 일부개정안 등 주요 조례안과 동의안을 다룰 예정이다. 

또한 노후 가로등 및 보안등 개선 사업, 공유재산 관리계획, 레이지버드파크 민간위탁 동의안, 공유수면 매립 기본계획 반영 의견 청취와 도시재생 공동이용시설 조례안 등 다양한 현안도 심도 있게 논의된다.

서천군의회는 이번 임시회를 통해 주요 재정 집행과 조직 운영, 지역 개발 등 군민의 삶과 직결된 안건들을 집행부와 긴밀히 협의하면서 꼼꼼히 심사해 지역 발전과 주민 복지 증진에 주력할 방침이다.
