고양특례시 일산3동 찾아가는 복지상담소 운영

고양특례시 일산3동은 지난 3월 19일 지역사회보장협의체 위원들과 함께 후동공원에서 지역주민을 대상으로 찾아가는 복지상담소 및 위기가구 발굴 캠페인을 추진했다.

이번 캠페인은 복지정보 제공 및 복지사각지대 발굴을 위한 것으로 접근성이 높은 관내 공원에서 운영되어 주민들이 부담 없이 참여할 수 있는 현장 중심의 복지를 실현했다.

일산3동은 문촌7종합사회복지관과 협력하여 맞춤형 복지 상담을 진행하고 지역사회보장협의체 위원들이 참여한 위기가구 발굴 캠페인도 병행했으며 상담소에서는 주로 긴급복지지원과 기초연금 등 주요 복지제도에 대한 안내가 이루어졌으며 독거노인 및 중장년 1인 가구의 고독사 예방 등 지역 현안에 대한 정보도 함께 제공했다.

또한 리플릿 배부 등 홍보활동을 통해 복지사각지대 발굴을 위한 주민들의 적극적인 참여를 유도했으며 현장을 방문한 한 주민은 상담을 통해 복지제도에 관한 필요한 정보를 쉽게 안내받을 수 있어 유익했고 주변의 어려운 이웃에 대해 다시 한번 생각해보는 계기가 됐다고 소감을 전했다.

일산3동은 찾아가는 복지상담소 및 캠페인을 올해 3월에서 5월 그리고 9월에서 10월까지 총 5회에 걸쳐 추진할 예정이며 앞으로 문촌7종합사회복지관을 비롯해 고양시 자살예방센터와 일산서구보건소 치매안심센터 그리고 고양시 주거복지센터 등 유관기관과 협력해 다양한 복지서비스를 제공할 계획이다.
