【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=단양군 단양읍지역사회보장협의체가 취약계층을 위한 맞춤형 나눔 활동을 지속적으로 추진하며 지역공동체 복지 안전망 강화에 나서고 있다.
협의체는 매주 수요일 관내 협약처와 연계한 ‘품안愛나눔 밑반찬 지원사업’을 운영하고 있다.
현재 29개 협약처가 참여해 총 38가구에 정기적으로 밑반찬을 지원하고 있으며, 협의체 위원들과 생활지원사들이 반찬 수거부터 각 가정 전달까지 직접 참여해 안부 확인과 정서적 돌봄도 함께 수행하고 있다.
이와 함께 매월 셋째 주 금요일에는 저소득 아동가구를 대상으로 간식 지원사업을 추진하고 있다.
15개 협약처가 참여해 총 23가구 아동에게 간식을 전달하고 있으며, 평강라이온스클럽 회원들이 배부 활동에 함께 참여해 나눔의 의미를 더하고 있다.
이 같은 사업은 단순한 물품 지원을 넘어 지역 내 인적 안전망을 기반으로 취약계층의 생활 안정과 고립 예방에 기여하고 있다는 점에서 의미를 더하고 있다.
장경인 단양읍지역사회보장협의체 민간위원장은 “지역 내 식당 등 협약처의 적극적인 참여와 따뜻한 나눔 덕분에 사업이 안정적으로 운영되고 있다”며 “앞으로도 민·관 협력을 바탕으로 소외된 이웃에게 실질적인 도움이 되는 맞춤형 복지 서비스를 지속적으로 확대해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
