<브레이크뉴스 평창 = 김일웅 기자> 평창군사회복지협의회가 일교차가 큰 환절기를 맞아 지역 내 소외된 이웃들의 건강을 챙기기 위해 영양 만점 삼계탕 배달에 나섰다.
평창군사회복지협의회는 지난 26일 방림면 복지회관에서 관내 취약계층을 위한 ‘사랑 이음 밥차’ 봉사활동을 성황리에 전개했다고 27일 밝혔다.
이번 ‘사랑 이음 밥차’는 봄철 환절기에 특히 건강이 우려되는 독거노인과 장애인 가정에 따뜻한 보양식을 대접하고, 직접 안부를 살피기 위해 마련된 밀착형 복지 사업이다.
이날 이른 아침부터 모인 협의회 직원들과 방림면 사회복지대학 동문회원들은 정성을 듬뿍 담아 삼계탕 120인분을 직접 조리하고 포장했다. 이어 각 가정을 일일이 방문해 음식을 전달하며 다정한 말벗이 되어주는 등 훈훈한 나눔을 몸소 실천했다.
이효석 평창군사회복지협의회장은 “성큼 다가온 봄을 맞아 어르신들과 이웃들이 영양 가득한 삼계탕을 드시고 올 한 해를 건강하게 보내시길 간절히 바란다”며, “앞으로도 우리 주변의 도움이 필요한 이웃들에게 든든한 힘이 될 수 있도록 지속적인 나눔 활동을 펼치겠다”고 전했다.
장승임 방림면장 역시 “바쁜 일정 속에서도 사랑 이음 밥차를 정성껏 운영해 주신 사회복지협의회와 자원봉사자 여러분의 노고에 깊이 감사드린다”며, “행정복지센터 차원에서도 취약계층을 향한 꾸준한 관심과 지원을 절대 아끼지 않겠다”고 화답했다.
