<브레이크뉴스 춘천 = 이향석 기자> 춘천시의 미래를 그려갈 청년들이 시정에 직접 참여해 목소리를 내는 ‘청년 정책 컨트롤 타워’가 본격적인 활동의 닻을 올렸다.
춘천시 청년네트워크는 지난 26일 시청 다목적실에서 제1기 위원 30여 명이 참석한 가운데 제1차 정기회의를 개최하고 운영 체계를 확립했다고 27일 밝혔다.

이날 회의는 청년네트워크의 운영 목적과 연간 활동 로드맵을 공유하고, 분과별 역할 분담과 세부 활동 계획을 구체화하는 등 조직 운영의 기틀을 다지는 시간으로 채워졌다. 특히 위원들의 실무 역량을 높이기 위해 정책 결정 과정과 실제 참여 방식에 대한 심도 있는 교육도 병행됐다.
춘천시 청년네트워크는 지역에 거주하거나 활동하는 19세부터 45세까지의 청년 30명으로 구성된 민관 협력 기구다. 위원들은 ▲청년문화·교육 ▲청년일자리·창업 ▲청년생활·복지 등 3개 핵심 분과로 나뉘어 현장의 목소리를 정책으로 연결하는 가교 역할을 수행하게 된다.

춘천시는 청년들의 제안이 단순한 아이디어 제안에 그치지 않고 실제 예산 편성 및 시정 운영에 반영될 수 있도록 전폭적인 지원을 아끼지 않을 방침이다. 위원들은 앞으로 분과별 정기 회의와 현장 탐방을 통해 정책을 발굴하며, 오는 6월부터는 정책 기획서 작성법 등 전문적인 역량 강화 프로그램에도 참여할 예정이다.
한편, 춘천시는 지난 20일 열린 청년정책위원회에서 ‘2026년 청년정책 시행계획’을 확정했다. 올해 시는 ▲자립 및 성장 지원 ▲정착 기반 강화 ▲참여 확대 등을 목표로 일자리, 주거, 복지 등 5개 분야 31개 사업에 총 214억 원의 대규모 사업비를 투입해 ‘청년친화도시’ 조성에 총력을 기울인다.
