(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천부평경찰서가 최근 112신고를 해 대형사고를 예방한 공로자를 포상했다고 밝혔다.
부평서에 따르면, 공로자 박모 씨(30대), 최모 씨(30대)는 지난 2월 인천 부평구 청천동 일대에서 버스 바퀴 너트 가 풀린 상태로 주행하는 것을 발견하고 즉시 경찰에 신고했다.
출동 경찰관이 버스 차량을 발견하여 확인한 결과, 바퀴 너트 10개 중 8개가 풀려 있던 상태로, 공로자의 신속한 신고로 대형 안전사고를 예방할 수 있었다.
경찰은 112신고의 운영 및 처리에 관한 법률에 따라 112신고 공로자에게 적절한 포상 또는 포상금을 지급할 수 있다.
이에 부평경찰서(서장 김정란)는 지난 24일 공로자에게 감사장과 신고포상금을 수여했다.
