‘또바기’는 ‘언제나 한결같이’라는 뜻의 순우리말로, 증평군에 거주하는 다양한 형태의 가족들이 함께 참여하는 가족봉사단이다.
이번 봉사단은 12가족 37명으로 구성됐으며, 지난 28일 발대식을 시작으로 오는 11월까지 운영된다.
올해는 ‘환경 보호’를 핵심 테마로 설정해 지역 환경단체와 협력하는 보다 체계적인 봉사활동을 펼칠 계획이다.
주요 활동으로는 증평의 주요 관광지와 역사 탐방로를 걸으며 쓰레기를 수거하는 ‘줍깅(plogging)’을 비롯해 환경 교육 및 생태 보전 활동, 지역 소외계층을 위한 나눔 활동 등이 추진된다.
