[브레이크뉴스=강동호 기자] 합천군은 농림축산식품부가 주관하는 농촌공간정비사업에 선정돼 사업비 70억원(국비 35, 지방비 35)을 확보했다고 31일 밝혔다.

이에 2030년까지 5년간 쌍백면 평구2구에 특화지구형 농촌공간정비사업을 시행한다.

이 사업은 2024년 3월 시행된 농촌공간 재구조화 및 재생지원에 관한 법률에 따라, 우리군이 수립한 농촌공간계획을 바탕으로 두 개 이상의 농촌특화지구를 서로 연계해 농촌공간의 재구조화와 재생을 촉진하는 것이 핵심 목표이며, 농촌특화지구 내 농촌의 난개발 정비, 시설 이전, 재배치 등을 지원하는 사업이다.

쌍백면에는 ▲농촌마을 보호지구 ▲농촌융복합산업지구 두 개의 구역을 연계하여 농촌마을 보호지구에는 현재 운영중인 계사를 철거하고 마을 주민들에게 농촌다움 회복과 정주여건을 개선하는 마을 상생숲을 제공한다.

농촌융복합산업지구에는 펫-웰니스 상생플랫폼(숙박, 체험시설)을 조성하여 전국에서 유일한 반려동물 친화형 농촌공간 재구조화 및 재생 모델을 성공시켜 나가고자 한다.

또한 마을 상생 숲과 상생플랫폼을 이어주는 역할을 하는 안심댕댕길을 조성하여 지역주민 뿐만 아니라 상생플랫폼, 반려동물테마파크 멍스테이 등을 방문하는 방문객이 서로 조화롭게 어우러 질 수 있도록 산책로를 조성할 계획이다.
