[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시 시설관리공단이 운영하는 공영주차장 3곳이 진주시 최초로 ‘범죄예방 우수시설’ 인증을 받아 진주경찰서로부터 공식 인정받으며 안전관리 수준을 높였다고 1일 밝혔다.
이번에 인증을 받은 시설은 진주대첩 역사공원 부설주차장과 중안지구 공영주차타워, 화물자동차 공영차고지로 공단의 선제적이고 체계적인 안전관리 노력이 인정받았다는 점에서 의미가 크다.
범죄예방 우수시설 인증은 시민들이 일상적으로 이용하는 시설을 대상으로 경찰서가 범죄예방 진단을 실시해 일정 기준을 충족한 시설에 부여하는 제도로 안전성 확보를 위해 마련됐다.
주차장 평가는 환경 구조 개선과 조명 및 CCTV 등 방범시설 설치, 비상호출 시스템 점검, 운영관리 체계, 이용자 안전 편의 등 5개 분야를 기준으로 현장 중심의 심사가 진행됐다.
