브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 쿠팡이츠서비스(CES)가 배달파트너의 안전한 운행을 지원하기 위해 ‘2026년 상반기 배달파트너 무상 안전점검 프로그램’을 본격 시행한다.
이번 상반기 안전점검은 지난달 군포 지역을 시작으로 오는 6월까지 서울·경기·인천 등 수도권과 청주, 창원, 전주 등 전국 주요 도시 15개 지역 배달파트너를 대상으로 순차 진행될 예정이다.
무상 안전점검 프로그램은 이륜차 주요 고장 원인을 사전에 점검해 사고로 이어질 수 있는 위험 요소를 예방하는 데 초점을 맞췄다.
점검은 한국오토바이정비협회 소속 정비 전문가들의 체계적인 정밀 점검으로 진행되며, △제동장치 △타이어 △등화장치 △소음·배기가스 △조향장치 등 이륜차 운행 안전과 직결되는 주요 요소를 확인한다.
점검 결과에 따라 △엔진오일 △브레이크 패드 △에어클리너 필터 △점화플러그 등 주요 소모품도 상태 진단을 거쳐 무상으로 교체 받을 수 있다.
쿠팡이츠서비스가 2023년부터 운영해 온 무상 안전점검 프로그램은 배달파트너들이 보다 편리하게 참여할 수 있도록 ‘찾아가는 현장 점검’ 방식으로 매년 상·하반기에 정기 운영되고 있다. 쿠팡이츠 배달 수행 이력이 있는 배달파트너를 대상으로 제공되며, 문자메시지 안내를 통해 신청할 수 있다.
이번 상반기 안전점검에서는 일부 지역을 중심으로 교통안전 교육 프로그램과 건강검진 프로그램도 함께 운영된다. CES는 도로교통공단과 협력해 교통안전 교육을 실시하고, 교육을 수료한 배달파트너 전원에게 안전용품을 무상으로 제공할 계획이다.
또한, 경기의료원과 협력해 ‘찾아가는 건강검진’도 함께 진행한다. 해당 프로그램은 경기의료원이 운영하는 검진버스와 전문 의료 인력이 현장을 방문해 배달파트너들의 건강 관리를 지원한다. 일부 지역에서는 안전 캠페인의 일환으로 노사발전재단 근로자이음센터에서 커피차 및 안전용품을 지원한다.
