이번 사업은 중소기업이 수출 과정에서 겪는 국외 안전인증 취득의 어려움을 해소하고 교역국의 안전 규제에 선제적으로 대응할 수 있도록 돕기 위해 마련됐다.
지원 대상은 미국(UL·FCC·FDA)과 유럽(CE) 등 총 436개 규격이며 제품 안전 인증이 아닌 ISO 인증은 제외된다. 선정된 기업은 인증비와 시험비 그리고 컨설팅비 등 인증 취득에 필요한 총비용의 80%를 실비로 지원받을 수 있다. 지원 한도는 기업당 최대 2개 제품까지이며 금액으로는 440만 원이다.
참여를 희망하는 기업은 수원시 홈페이지 공고 게시판에서 신청서를 내려받아 작성한 뒤 1일부터 24일까지 전자우편으로 접수하면 된다.
