고양특례시가 시민들과 직접 마주 앉아 시정 운영의 현재를 공유하고 미래 비전을 설명하는 자리를 마련하며 ‘투명 행정’ 강화에 나섰다.
고양특례시는 지난 2일 백석별관 대강당에서 통장과 주민자치회 위원, 산하기관 관계자 등 시민 350여 명이 참석한 가운데 ‘2026 고양특례시 시정보고회’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이번 보고회는 ‘고양의 오늘을 보고하고, 내일을 묻습니다’라는 슬로건 아래 기존의 동별 순회 간담회와는 다른 형식으로 진행됐다.

그동안 지역별 현안 중심의 소통이 이뤄졌다면, 이번에는 시 전체의 정책 방향과 중장기 로드맵을 시장이 시민에게 직접 설명하는 ‘업무보고’ 방식으로 차별화를 꾀했다.
이동환 시장은 “공무원이 시장에게 업무보고를 하듯 시장 역시 시민에게 시정 전반을 보고할 책임이 있다”며 “시민과의 신뢰를 바탕으로 한 투명한 행정을 실현하겠다”고 강조했다.
이날 보고회에서는 경제, 교통, 도시환경, 복지, 교육 등 5대 핵심 분야에 대한 추진 현황과 향후 계획이 중점적으로 다뤄졌다.
특히 경제 분야에서는 자족도시 실현을 위한 ‘실리콘밸리형 선순환 경제 모델’이 핵심 전략으로 제시됐다.
