서울 구로구 일대에서 민·관·경이 힘을 모은 환경정화 및 기초질서 확립 캠페인이 펼쳐지며 지역사회에 긍정적인 변화를 이끌어내고 있다.
서울구로경찰서(서장 하지원)와 (사)중국동포한마음연합총회(총회장 김세광)가 협력해 추진한 이번 활동은 단순한 청소를 넘어, 안전하고 쾌적한 도시 환경 조성을 위한 실천적 모델로 주목받고 있다.

이번 캠페인은 지난 4월 5일 청명(淸明)을 맞아 진행됐으며, 경찰과 (사)중국동포한마음연합총회 와 한마음봉사회(회장 김건) 회원 등 약 30여 명이 참여했다.
참가자들은 중국동포와 중국인들의 집거지인 가리봉시장과 인근 골목길을 중심으로 무단 투기된 쓰레기를 수거하고, 생활환경 개선을 위한 대대적인 정화 활동을 전개했다.
이와 함께 시민들의 일상 속 기초질서 준수를 유도하기 위한 홍보 활동도 병행됐다.

쓰레기 무단투기 금지와 금연구역 준수 등 환경 분야를 비롯해, 음주 소란 및 무단횡단 금지와 같은 안전 수칙, 공공장소 흉기 소지 금지 및 보이스피싱 예방 등 범죄 예방 메시지가 집중적으로 전달됐다.
특히 외국인 주민 비율이 높은 지역 특성을 반영해 한글과 중국어를 병기한 안내문을 제작·배포함으로써 실질적인 참여와 이해도를 높였다.
이번 활동은 지역 주민과 외국인 커뮤니티가 함께 어우러져 공동체 의식을 강화했다는 점에서도 의미를 더한다.

김세광 (사)중국동포한마음연합총회 총회장은 “이번 활동은 동포사회가 지역사회의 일원으로서 책임을 다하고 상생하는 계기가 될 것”이라며, “오는 4월 19일에는 천왕산에서 산불 예방 및 자연 정화 캠페인을 이어가는 등 지속적인 사회공헌에 힘쓰겠다”고 전했다.
