【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=청주대학교 김윤배 총장이 유학생 유치 강화를 위해 베트남 현지 대학교 2곳을 잇따라 찾아 국제교류 협정을 맺고 본격적인 교류 활동에 나섰다.
청주대는 최근 베트남 하노이에서 금융은행대학교(Hanoi Financial and Banking University), 프엉동대학교(Phuong Dong University)와 각각 국제교류 협정을 체결했다고 8일 밝혔다.
금융은행대학교와의 협정식에는 팜 응옥 안 총장을 비롯한 대학 관계자들이, 프엉동대학교 협정식에는 응웬 흐우 끄엉 총장 등이 각각 참석했다.
청주대에서는 김윤배 총장과 학교 관계자 등이 자리에 함께했다.
이번 협정 체결에 따라 청주대와 금융은행·프엉동대학 학생들은 다양한 프로그램에 참여할 수 있는 기회를 갖게 된다.
김윤배 총장은 "현재 청주대에는 37개국 4100여 명의 유학생이 최첨단 도서관과 하이플렉스 강의실 등 수준 높은 교육환경에서 '실시간 강의 자막/번역 서비스 프로그램'을 통해 학업에 정진하고 있다“며, ”외국 유학생들이 글로벌 인재로 성장할 수 있도록 지원을 아끼지 않겠다"고 말했다.
베트남 하노이에 있는 금융은행대학은 2010년 설립된 4년제 사립대로, 23개 학과에 학생 6000여 명이 재학 중이다.
