(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) (재)인천문화재단에서 운영하는 트라이보울의 기획전시, ‘인천청년작가전2026_인천/경계의 자리’展이 지난 7일 개막했다.
인천문화재단에 따르면, 청년 예술가 14인의 다양한 시선과 실험정신이 담긴 이번 전시는 오는 7월 5일까지 이어지며, 인천에서 활동 중인 청년 작가 14인의 회화, 설치, 미디어 등의 작품을 선보인다.
또한 트라이보울 수변공간에는 인천대학교 조형예술학부 졸업생, 재학생의 공동작품이 설치되어 시민과 그 의미를 나눈다.
예술공간 트라이보울은 2023년부터 ‘인천청년작가전’을 기획하여 인천 지역을 기반으로 활동하는 청년 예술가를 발굴하고, 이들의 예술 활동을 지원해 왔다.
이번 전시 역시 그 연장선상에서 지역 청년 예술인의 창작 생태를 조명하고, 지속 가능한 예술 활동 기반을 모색하고자 기획됐다.
이번 전시에서는 인천아트플랫폼 ‘2025 인천미술 올해의 작가’에 선정된 차기율 인천대학교 조형예술학부 교수가 2023~2025년에 이어 예술감독을 맡아 전시를 구성했으며, 작가 14인의 작품을 하나의 주제 안에서 통합하고 조율했다.
다양한 장르와 표현 방식을 통해 ‘인천/경계의 자리’라는 주제를 해석한 작가들의 작업은 현실을 직시하는 감각과 예술적 상상력이 공존하는 지점을 보여준다.
전시 기간 내 ‘작가와의 대화’ 프로그램을 운영, 청년 작가들의 지역에 대한 사유와 다양한 작품의 의미 등을 관람객과 소통하는 기회를 제공한다.
전시는 오는 7월 5일까지 인천 송도 트라이보울 3층 전시장에서 진행되며, 관람은 무료다.
전시장은 화요일부터 일요일, 12시부터 17시 30분까지 운영되며, 매주 월요일은 휴관한다.

The special exhibition ‘Incheon Young Artists Exhibition 2026_Incheon/Place of the Boundary,’ operated by the Incheon Cultural Foundation’s Tribowl, opened on the 7th.
According to the Incheon Cultural Foundation, this exhibition, which captures the diverse perspectives and experimental spirit of 14 young artists, will continue until July 5 and showcase works including paintings, installations, and media art by 14 young artists currently active in Incheon.
In addition, a collaborative artwork by graduates and current students of the School of Fine Arts at Incheon National University is installed in the waterfront area of Tribowl, sharing its significance with the public.
Since 2023, Art Space Tribowl has organized the "Incheon Young Artists Exhibition" to discover young artists based in the Incheon region and support their artistic activities.
This exhibition was planned as an extension of this initiative to shed light on the creative ecosystem of local young artists and to explore a foundation for sustainable artistic activities.
For this exhibition, Professor Cha Ki-yul of the School of Fine Arts at Incheon National University, who was selected as the "2025 Incheon Art Artist of the Year" by Incheon Art Platform, served as the Artistic Director for the second consecutive year (2023–2025). He curated the exhibition by integrating and coordinating the works of 14 artists under a single theme.
Interpreting the theme "Incheon/The Place of the Boundary" through diverse genres and modes of expression, the artists' works demonstrate a point where a sense of facing reality directly coexists with artistic imagination. During the exhibition period, a ‘Conversation with the Artist’ program will be held, providing young artists with an opportunity to communicate with visitors about their reflections on the region and the meanings behind their various works.
The exhibition runs until July 5 at the exhibition hall on the 3rd floor of the Tribowl in Songdo, Incheon, and admission is free.
The exhibition hall is open from Tuesday through Sunday, from 12:00 to 17:30, and is closed every Monday.
A brief opening ceremony will be held on April 10 at 4:00 PM.
