【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=(사)청주예총과 청년문화원은 9일 오후 3시, (사)청주예총 3층 회의실에서 청년문화 활성화를 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다. 이날 협약식에는 양 기관 관계자들이 참석해 청년 중심의 문화 예술 활성화와 지역사회 발전을 위한 상호협력의 뜻을 함께했다.
이번 협약은 양 기관이 보유한 인적·물적 자원을 활용하여 청년 대상 문화 예술 활동을 확대하고, 공동 프로그램 운영을 통해 지역문화의 새로운 활력을 도모하기 위해 마련됐다. 협약에 따라 (사)청주예총은 지역문화 자원, 콘텐츠, 강사 및 공간 제공과 함께 청년 대상 프로그램 운영에 필요한 행정적 지원을 담당하며, 청년문화원은 청년 참여 확대를 위한 프로그램 기획 및 운영, 홍보, 참여자 모집 등 실행 전반을 주도하게 된다.
양 기관은 앞으로 공동 주최 행사 및 다양한 청년문화 프로그램을 통해 청년들이 지역문화 속에서 창의적이고 의미 있는 경험을 할 수 있도록 협력해 나갈 계획이다. 또한 실질적인 협력성과 창출을 위해 지속적인 교류와 협의를 이어갈 방침이다.
(사)청주예총 문길곤 회장은 “청년은 지역문화의 미래를 이끄는 핵심 주체”라며 “이번 협약을 통해 청년과 지역 예술이 유기적으로 연결되어 지속가능한 문화 생태계가 조성되기를 기대한다.”고 밝혔다.
청년문화원 김흥용 원장은 “청년들이 문화 예술을 통해 지역사회와 소통하고 성장할 수 있는 기반이 마련됐다”며 “(사)청주예총과의 협력을 통해 청년문화의 새로운 가능성을 확장해 나가겠다”고 전했다.
양 기관은 이번 협약을 계기로 청년문화 예술 활성화는 물론 지역사회 발전을 위한 협력 체계를 지속적으로 강화해 나갈 예정이다.
