고양특례시 일산동구 정발산동은 지난 8일 파주시 운정1동 주민자치회의 벤치마킹 방문을 맞아 정발산동 행복마을관리소 운영 사례를 공유하고 마을공동체 활성화 방안을 논의하는 자리를 마련했다고 밝혔다.

이번 방문은 구도심 지역주택가를 중심으로 공공서비스를 제공하는 마을 거점시설인 ‘행복마을관리소’의 운영 사례를 벤치마킹하기 위해 추진됐다.
정발산동은 그동안 행복마을관리소를 통해 고가 공구 무료 대여, 낡은 집 수리 지원, 나눔냉장고 운영 등 다양한 생활밀착형 서비스를 제공하며 지역 내 나눔 문화 확산과 공동체 활성화에 기여해왔다.
이날 간담회에서는 행복마을관리소 운영 과정에서 축적된 주요 사례와 실질적인 운영 노하우를 공유하고, 각 지역 여건에 맞는 마을공동체 사업 추진 방향에 대해 폭넓은 의견을 나눴다.
윤여정 정발산동 주민자치회장은 “정발산동의 경험이 운정1동의 마을공동체 활성화에 도움이 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 지역 간 지속적인 교류를 통해 주민자치와 공동체 활동이 더욱 활발해지기를 기대한다”고 말했다.
