시는 8개월간의 연구 결과를 토대로 중장기 실행전략을 수립해 정부의 의료 정책과 연계한 의료체계 구축과 국비 확보에 총력을 기울일 방침이다.
김진석 부시장은 “이번 연구는 지역 의료 현실을 객관적으로 진단하고 실질적인 개선 방향을 도출했다는 점에서 의미가 크다”며, “연구 결과를 토대로 시민이 체감하는 의료 환경의 개선을 이뤄내는 정책 추진에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
