충남교육청이 북한배경학생들의 안정적인 학교 적응과 성장을 돕기 위해 교사들과 머리를 맞댔다. 단순한 지식 전달을 넘어, 학생 개개인의 특성을 고려한 ‘정서적 동행’에 본격적으로 나선 모양새다.
도교육청은 14일 홍성군 소재 충청남도교육청교육과정평가정보원에서 ‘북한배경학생 맞춤형 상담 담당 교원 배움자리’를 열고, 체계적인 교육 지원 방안을 공유했다고 밝혔다.
충남교육청이 역점을 두어 추진하는 ‘북한배경학생 맞춤형 상담 교육 지원 사업’은 교사와 학생의 1:1 결연을 핵심으로 한다. 이는 단순히 수업 보조에 그치지 않고, 학생의 요구에 따라 기초 학습 지도 ,심리 및 정서적 안정 지원 ,진로·진학 설계 등 전방위적인 교육 서비스를 제공하는 프로그램이다.
이번 배움자리는 현장 교사들이 북한배경학생을 보다 깊이 이해하고 실질적인 지도 역량을 갖출 수 있도록 문화적 차이와 학생들의 특수성 고찰, 현장에서 검증된 맞춤형 상담 노하우 공유, 상담 프로그램 수립 및 효율적인 예산 집행 방법 설명 구성됐다.
