청와대가 14일 "이재명 대통령이 고광헌 방송미디어통신심의위원회 위원장에 대한 임명안을 재가했다"고 전했다.
강유정 수석대변인은 이날 오후 언론 공지를 통해 이같은 사안을 전했다. 고 위원장 임기는 오는 2028년 12월 28일까지다.
국회 과학방송기술통신위원회는 이날 전체회의를 열고 고 위원장에 대한 인사청문경과보고서 채택 안건을 의결했다.
언론인 출신 고 위원장은 한겨레신문·서울신문 대표·한국디지털뉴스협회장 등을 거쳐 지난 2025년 12월 방미심위 위원으로 위촉된 후 올해 3월 12일 방미심위 전체회의에서 위원장 후보자로 선출됐다.
