과천시가 과천주암지구의 성공적인 조성을 위해 입주 전 단계부터 예비 주민들과 손을 맞잡고 선제적인 소통 행정에 나섰다.
과천시는 지난 10일 시장 집무실에서 ‘과천주암 C2블록 신혼희망타운 입주예정자회’와 기반시설 확충 및 정주여건 개선을 위한 민관 상생협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
이번 협약은 신규 택지개발지구에서 발생하기 쉬운 갈등을 사전에 예방하고, 도시 조성 과정에 실수요자의 의견을 직접 반영하기 위해 추진됐다.
협약에 따라 양측은 과천주암지구의 원활한 조성과 안정적인 정주 환경 마련을 위해 상호 협력 체계를 구축하기로 했다. 특히 입주 초기 주민들이 겪을 수 있는 교통 불편 해소와 교육 환경 조성 문제 등 주요 현안에 대해 시 행정과 입주예정자의 의견을 유기적으로 결합해 실질적인 개선 방안을 도출할 계획이다.
