<브레이크뉴스 횡성 = 김일웅 기자> 횡성군이 ‘장애친화도시’로의 도약을 다짐하며 지역사회 모두가 함께 어우러지는 대규모 화합의 장을 마련한다.
15일 횡성군장애인종합복지관(관장 박성길)은 오는 4월 24일 오전 10시부터 횡성군 실내체육관 및 인라인스케이트장 일대에서 ‘제46회 횡성군 장애인의 날 기념행사’를 개최한다고 밝혔다.

“당연한 일상, 모두가 누릴 수 있도록”이라는 뜻깊은 슬로건 아래 진행되는 이번 행사는, 횡성군의 장애친화도시 선포 이후 지역사회가 나아갈 비전을 공유하고 장애인과 비장애인이 일상 속에서 차별 없이 소통하기 위해 기획됐다.
행사 당일에는 횡성군 등록 장애인을 비롯해 복지시설 및 단체 관계자, 지역주민 등 약 2,000여 명이 참석해 지역사회 협력형 축제의 의미를 더할 예정이다.

본 행사는 지체장애인이 포함된 비보이팀의 역동적인 무대와 느티나무합창단의 감동적인 식전 공연으로 막을 올린다. 이어지는 1부 공식 기념식에서는 장애인인권헌장 낭독과 유공자 시상이 진행되며, 특히 ‘횡성군 장애친화도시, 함께 만드는 변화’ 영상을 상영해 모두가 누리는 일상이 당연해지는 미래를 향한 군민들의 공감대를 형성할 계획이다.
오찬 이후 펼쳐지는 2부 화합의 장에서는 장기자랑, 축하공연, 경품 추첨 등 다채로운 레크리에이션이 준비되어 있다. 또한 행사장 안팎에서는 지역 내 장애인 시설과 단체들이 참여하는 협력기관 홍보 부스와 다양한 체험 프로그램이 상설 운영된다.
