(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시 종합건설본부가 오는 4월 20일 오전 9시부터 중봉대로와 봉수대로를 연결하는 청라 IHP 진입도로를 개통한다고 밝혔다.
종합건설본부에 따르면, 청라 IHP 진입도로는 서구 원창동 봉수대로 501번길 일원에 건설된 도로로, 2020년 12월 착공해 총 405억 원의 사업비를 투입해 조성됐으며, 총길이 970m, 폭 30m의 왕복 6차선 규모로, 인도와 자전거도로도 함께 설치됐다.
인천시는 이번 도로 개통으로 청라 도시첨단산업단지 내 교통 접근성이 개선되고 출·퇴근 시간 상습 정체가 완화될 것으로 보고 있다.
또한, 인천 북항 인근 산업단지와의 연결성이 강화돼 물류 차량 이동 거리 단축과 비용 절감 효과도 기대하고 있다.
아울러, 인근 소규모 공장 단지 접근성이 개선돼 지역 교통 체계 전반의 효율성을 높일 것으로 보고 있다.
