【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충주시가 바이오헬스 분야 기업의 경쟁력을 강화하고 관련 산업 생태계를 구축하기 위해 ‘2026년 충주시 바이오헬스기업 창업·성장 지원’ 및 ‘충주지식산업센터 경쟁력 강화 지원’ 사업에 참여할 기업을 모집한다고 17일 밝혔다.
이번 사업은 기업 경쟁력 강화와 충주지식산업센터 활성화를 도모하고, 충주 바이오헬스 국가산단의 성공적인 추진을 위한 마중물 역할을 하고자 기획되었다.
지원 대상은 만 19세 이상 39세 이하의 청년 또는 7년 이내 바이오헬스 창업기업, 2025년 청년·창업 지원 수혜기업, 충주지식산업센터 입주(예정) 바이오헬스 기업 등이다.
시는 이 중 총 15개 내외의 기업을 선정해 지원할 계획이다.
선정된 기업에는 혁신 아이템과 선도 기술을 보유한 기업이 도약할 수 있도록 △컨설팅 △마케팅 △인증 △IP(지식재산권) 획득 등 사업화에 필요한 맞춤형 지원이 제공된다.
시는 이를 통해 기업의 성장을 뒷받침하고 지역 내 안착을 적극 지원할 방침이다.
신청 접수는 오는 5월 28일까지이며, 충북과학기술혁신원 북부권혁신지원센터에 사업신청서를 방문 또는 우편으로 제출하거나 사업 담당자 전자메일을 통해 접수하면 된다.

이와 함께 충주시는 바이오헬스 산업의 협력 기반을 강화하기 위해 산·학·연·관 전문가가 참여하는 ‘바이오기업 협의체’ 회원사 모집도 병행한다.
협의체 구축을 통해 지역 내 바이오 산업 네트워크를 한층 견고히 다질 계획이다.
