또한 충북지체장애인협회 옥천군지회는 청명장학회, 중앙양국양정환장학회, 삼합지체장학회 등의 후원으로 학생 15명에게 총 450만 원의 장학금을 전달했으며, 교통약자지원센터에서도 학생 1명에게 50만 원의 장학금을 지원해 행사 의미를 더했다.
한규보 옥천군장애인단체협의회장은 “이번 행사가 장애인과 비장애인이 함께 어우러지는 뜻깊은 시간이 되어 기쁘다”며 “앞으로도 더불어 살아가는 지역사회 조성을 위해 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
